General Warranty Information
AWW SLEEP LLC stands behind the quality of the sleep products we sell. Many products sold by AWW SLEEP LLC may include manufacturer warranties that protect against qualifying defects in workmanship and materials under normal residential use.
Warranty coverage, terms, duration, and conditions vary by manufacturer, product model, and product category.
Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing:
- Manufacturer warranties apply only to the original purchaser
- Warranty coverage is non-transferable
- Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims
- Warranty coverage begins on the original date of purchase or delivery
What May Be Covered
Depending on the applicable manufacturer warranty, covered defects may include:
- Manufacturing defects
- Structural defects
- Broken or defective components
- Abnormal material failure
- Certain qualifying mattress sagging or impressions
- Split seams or stitching defects
- Mechanical defects in adjustable bases or frames
- Defective workmanship under normal use conditions
Coverage varies by manufacturer and product model.
What Is Not Covered
Unless specifically required by applicable law or manufacturer warranty terms, warranties generally do not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Comfort preference changes
- Stains, burns, odors, or misuse
- Improper support or improper foundation use
- Abuse, neglect, or accidental damage
- Commercial or rental use
- Damage caused by pets
- Mold, mildew, moisture, or liquid exposure
- Physical damage caused during customer transport
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
- Clearance, floor model, “as-is,” or final sale merchandise unless otherwise stated
Mattress body impressions below manufacturer-required thresholds may not qualify as warranty defects.
Proper Mattress Support Requirements
To maintain warranty eligibility, mattresses must typically be used with:
- A proper bed frame or foundation
- Adequate center support where required
- A structurally sound sleep surface
- Manufacturer-approved support systems
Failure to use proper support systems may void warranty coverage.
Mattress Protection Recommendations
AWW SLEEP LLC strongly recommends using a waterproof mattress protector to help protect against stains, moisture damage, and contamination.
Many manufacturers may deny warranty claims if the mattress shows evidence of:
- Liquid exposure
- Staining
- Unsanitary conditions
- Physical abuse or contamination
Adjustable Base & Furniture Warranties
Adjustable bases, furniture, frames, and accessories may carry separate manufacturer warranties with independent coverage periods and claim procedures.
Electronic components, motors, remotes, USB ports, massage functions, and power systems may have limited warranty durations depending on the manufacturer.
Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, customers may be required to provide:
- Original sales receipt or proof of purchase
- Photos of the product and defect
- Product tags or serial numbers
- Written description of the issue
- Inspection access if requested
